OUR PHILOSOPHY

At Bernard LoVerde & Company, LLC | Advisory Services (“BJL”), regardless of the role (Managing Director, Chief Client Officer, Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Revenue Officer, Advisor and/or Consultant), we are committed to providing our clients objective advice that we view as a cornerstone from which to build a sound, fundamental program to address whatever the issues at hand. We feel that this is critical in establishing a truly unbiased approach in the creation of a solution, and/or long-term set of strategies, designed to meet each client’s individual needs.

Through this thoughtful, thorough and aggressive approach we differentiate ourselves in that we are not just “following the crowd” with regard to what advice or strategies may be currently “in vogue” but are solely focused on searching for themes and ideas that are unique to meet each client’s objectives. We will custom tailor an appropriate solution set to meet your specific needs and are not locked into a particular approach, or strategy, as we work together to determine the best strategy and approach for your particular needs based on the priority, level, difficulty factors, scope, resource allocation required, etc. Our methodologies work best when there is a strong mutual commitment and understanding between us and our client and with a further focus on maximizing the ROI across the board.

We believe that the entities we work with will succeed or fail based on their ability to translate data, including historical data, into insights, actions, and/or products/services, in real-time.  We look at ourselves as a firm with the proverbial “big ears”.  We listen, we learn, we understand – we need to have a beginner’s mind to think about what is happening as this is the core to innovation – the four most important words in our business are “What do you think?”.

We do all this with a business approach centered upon the OODA Loop. The OODA Loop is the decision cycle of observe, orient, decide, and act, developed by military strategist and United States Air Force Colonel John Boyd. Colonel Boyd applied the concept to the combat operations process, often at the operational level during military campaigns. It is now also often applied to understand commercial operations and learning processes. The approach favors agility over raw power in dealing with human opponents in any endeavor.

As such, we have provided high-value, bespoke, advisory services to companies throughout North America, and internationally in select cases, across a wide, and continually expanding, variety of industries and/or service providers since our inception.
